Yeshua reminds us “to count the costs” of walking with Him.
As I have walked with Him, my spirit strengthens and my flesh weakens and for me therein seems to lie the “cost”.
“Dying to self” to “live for Christ” is quite a painful exchange in my experience requiring supernatural courage - thank you Holy Spirit.
I suppose that is why the path is narrow while the alternative road is very broad.
If we are truly to transform into the image and likeness of Jesus, the transformation will most likely be quite unpleasant, yet what can we do…
He is the Way. The only Way.
For me, my comfort lie’s in fact that I know G-d is ALWAYS good all day every day and He knows exactly what I need so I must, sometimes hesitantly with great fear and trembling, lean into his design for me, but I have to say I am ready to receive my rest.
I’m ready for my tour of duty to be completed.
Ready to go home.
But G-d makes that call, not me.
I have grown to take great comfort in that surrender.
Please know, I am praying for you and yours - that our Loving and Mighty Savior will draw nigh to you in such a profound way that His peace will fill your soul with His revelation of your transformation.
Lastly, not for nothing, please know that your writings on this platform are an absolute treasure, without a doubt.
A treasure that, I am certain, yields precious fruit!
